So my awesome follow-up to not updating for 8 months has been not updating for 5, I guess. Maybe next time it will be down to two!

So, catch y'all up on things...(not that there's a y'all to catch up on things, but...just in case)

Starting my second year of university on the 10th. I am taking all the same courses as my my first semester! <3 Glee. Also actual writing course this time so this year will not be worthless like my first one. Grump.

So, my loan is not delayed due to my stupidity this year but instead the government's, as they have decided to pounce on a very small mistake on my mother's form.

DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD TO SIGN THE FORM TWICE OR IT DOES NOT COUNT. I DID NOT KNOW THIS.

I GUESS IT IS RIGHT THERE IN THE BIBLE, 'THOU SHALT SIGN THE FORM TWICE.'

SEE, HE BROKE THE STONE TABLETS WITH THE COMMANDMENTS ON THEM BECAUSE HE FORGOT TO SIGN THEM TWICE AND HAD TO START OVER.

.......I'm not bitter, whatever could you mean.

Anyway, it's sorted out now and just a matter of waiting, but ARGH.

Aaaand, obsession of the moment: STAR TREK.

Yesss, I have descended to an even deeper level of nerd, though thanks to J.J Abrams it is kind of cool now. But I also have fallen in love with the old series. All the cheesy space fun of Star Wars, but with way better characters.(Yay Star Wars and all, but I only really LIKED Han Solo and Obi Wan.)

And then the movie came along, took all these awesome characters, and made them VERY PRETTY. YES YES.

....though Spock/Uhura wtf. The people demand some Chapel at least, if you are not just going to admit that Kirk and Spock are totally gay for each other. Or Spock and Bones. Or Kirk and Spock. Or all three, really, I'm not super-picky.

Also, CHEKOV. ilu Pavel. He was great in the old show and now he is EVEN BETTER in the move. I love Anton Yelchin. Don't you just want to ruffle his curly hair? Wiktor Wiktor. 8D

OH, and my crappy cobbled-together old Frankenlaptop died. I have an EeePC now! It is tiny! And cute! And blue! ....So I named it Pavel.
